METHODS FOR DETERMINING THERMAL ERRORS IN MACHINE TOOLS BY THERMO-ELASTIC SIMULATION IN CONNECTION WITH THERMAL MEASUREMENT IN A CLIMATE CHAMBER

چکیده

Thermo-elastic deformation of the machine tool due to thermal expansion components presents one biggest challenges in maintaining accuracy and product quality. The operation inevitably leads waste heat friction losses bearings guides electrical motors control cabinets. These internal sources lead inhomogeneous changing temperature fields, which also interact with ambient temperature. An interaction environment takes place via natural or forced convection radiation. During design phase, these effects are determined using (typically FEM) simulations. For existing machines, measurements possible but require careful planning execution. FEM simulations coupled a climate chamber controlled foundation temperature, an optimal understanding management errors tools. In this paper, process thermo-elastic connection measurement principles will be presented. five-axis milling DMU 80 evo is used demonstrate validate results data.
